UPDATE: Senior Portfolio Exit Reviews and Graduation Information
90 Hours to get your BFA from the University.
60 Hours to go through the Graphic Design Senior Portfolio Exit Review.
You can still go through the GrD Senior Portfolio Exit Review (only if you have the required 60 credit hours) even if you don't have the required 120 credit hours to get your BFA degree.
Meaning, you can exit our program even if you don't exit the University.
If you are planning to graduate from the University at the end of Spring Semester 2015 then you must apply to Graduate by September 15, 2015.
Here's the latest from your Graphic Design Department and Faculty:
We have reviewed our departmental policies and find that it requires that all senior graphic design students must complete their 60 credit hours in Area G by the end of spring semester or they will not be able to go through the Senior Exit Portfolio Review process. Once those hours are completed then another Exit Review will be scheduled at the end of the most current semester.
*If you have to take a summer class then you will go through the Senior Portfolio Exit Review at the end of summer semester. The same for Fall semester.
**If you do plan to graduate at the end of either Spring, Summer or Fall Semester 2015 then you will still be able to enroll in the spring Portfolio, Senior Workshop and Special Application courses this spring.
Again, once you've completed the required 60 credit hours in Area G, the Graphic Design faculty has consented to conduct a Senior Exit Review at the end of that particular semester.
